Alessandro Mac-Nelly completed his architecture degree (BA8) at the HTWG Konstanz, which laid the foundation for his further professional and intellectual development.
During his studies, he discovered his passion for generative algorithms, which he used to solve architectural design problems through programming. His academic career was expanded by professional positions at Design-to-production GmbH, User-generated-Design GmbH and Atelier Brückner. After completing his bachelor's degree, Alessandro turned to the fine arts. He has already exhibited in Zurich and Singen and is planning another exhibition in Berlin in 2024. His sculptures, which he makes with his self-built 3D printer, are characterized by the organic resolution of human figures.
In his current research at Design & Computation, Alessandro is dedicated to the creative exploration of artificial intelligence and new transdisciplinary possibilities arising from the fusion of technology and art.
