Emma Sokoll was born in Bradford, UK and moved to Berlin in 2013 to study. She completed her master's degree in theoretical physics at TU Berlin, specialising in machine learning applications in quantum mechanical many-body systems, before beginning a new chapter with Design & Computation. In 2017, she co-founded the student initiative PARALLAX, in which she found her passion for art:science, interdisciplinary group work and curation. She is currently employed as part of the D&C team as an organiser and curator of the event series LOOPS.
