Philip Zimmer (he/they) is a student in the MA Design & Computation at the University of the Arts Berlin and the Technical University of Berlin. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, specializing in Molecular Biology, from the University of Bremen (Germany). With experience in research-oriented laboratory work, Philip adopts a research-based approach, viewing everything as a tool that can be contextually applied, whether in scientific inquiry or creative exploration.
His work focuses on the intersections of science, design, and technology, particularly how scientific ideas and theories connect with other disciplines. He is particularly intrigued by the gap between data and information, exploring how this disparity shapes the accessibility, distribution, and interpretation of knowledge.
