This incredible platform allowed us to present alongside outstanding contributions from institutions like Technische Universität Berlin and the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI).

We were particularly inspired by these remarkable projects:

  • „Checknewsin1.click“ by Dr. Veronika Solopova,
  • „news-polygraph“ by Tim Polzehl and Vera Schmitt,
  • Chatbots to Strengthen Democracy by students from TU Berlin and Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg.

The event also featured a thought-provoking dialogue between Cem Özdemir, German Federal Minister of Education and Research, and Sebastian Turner, founder of Falling Walls, during the Science Breakthrough of the Year ceremony.

Congratulations to our talented students, Alessandro Mac-Nelly and Pietro Lugaro, for representing Algorithmic Cultural Vandalism on such a prominent stage.
