At the award ceremony on 16 February, Prof. Albert Lang, coordinator of the research platform New Practice and the interdisciplinary, inter-university MA Design & Computation, was presented with the €20,000 prize by Senator Franziska Giffey.
Loops is the public event series of New Practice, which examines current issues in our society at the interface of art, design, science and technology in a unique, discursive format. Afterwards, the bar offers a space for casual exchange between guests, scientists, students and the public with a view over the Zoo skyline.
A diverse and international program with guests from science, design, art and the public is planned for the coming semester. The program for 2024 will be announced on an ongoing basis. Up-to-date information and directions can be found here and on our Instagram.
