We are happy to announce that the videos on the Raumlabor project produced by Stifterverband are being published! You can watch them on their official YouTube channel.
We share here one of the films made by Stifterverband, which sees our contribution within Raumlabor, a project of dynamic transformation of learning spaces through dynamic workshops, multimedial teaching, versatile and hybrid spaces.
"Spaces acquire value when they are utilised - this also or especially applies to universities. For this to be the case, it is important to involve students in design processes.
In the past year, innovative spatial laboratories have been created at five German universities that are orientated towards the needs of students and teachers. Among other things, they enable transformative spatial structures, multimedia teaching and learning as well as hybrid working.
There was experimentation, discussion and innovation. This video gives you a brief insight into how student participation can succeed."
Five room labs were funded in 2022/23 as part of the ‘Learning Architectures’ programme:
- Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (@uni_mainz): Ancient Sciences Innovation Lab (ASIL)
- Leuphana University of Lüneburg (@Leuphana): Transformations::Spaces for future-oriented learning
- Ingolstadt University of Technology (@TechnischeHochschuleIngolstadt): THI-Learning LabVR
- Technische Universität Berlin (@TUBerlinTV) in cooperation with Berlin University of the Arts: UNIversalräume - Dynamic Systems in Teaching and Learning Space Architectures
- University of Lübeck (@universitaetzuluebeck): Flexible Skills Lab Architecture (FLEXLAB)
